Lightning Speedway Launches During Dairyland Showdown
Lightning Speedway will officially open during the Dairyland Showdown weekend at Mississippi Thunder Speedway with two nights of racing on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2.

- R-Box: 12 karts, 12 laps
- BP Wing: 14 karts, 15 laps
- Micros: 20 cars, 20 laps

- R-Box races for trophies only (no draw/entry fee)
- BP Wing races for trophies only (no draw/entry fee)
- Micros pay purse both nights ($20 draw fee per night)

Parking and Camping
- Parking opens Thursday
- Pit pass required unless arriving after the race event is complete
- Overnight camping is welcome for RVs towing trailers in the pits
- If camper is a second trailer, it must pay separately and park in the campground
- Pit pass pricing follows Mississippi Thunder Speedway / World of Outlaws weekend pricing
