ARMS Arkansas Weekend Postponed
GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (July 6, 2026) — Officials with the American Racer Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports, in conjunction with Centerville Super Speedway and Diamond Park Raceway, have announced the postponement of this weekend's scheduled Arkansas doubleheader.
Following discussions between all parties, the decision was made to postpone the events to allow Centerville Super Speedway additional time to complete final facility upgrades. Rather than reduce the weekend to a single-night program, series and track officials agreed it was in the best interest of traveling competitors and their teams to scrap the weekend for now.
A make-up weekend is currently being explored, with additional details and any revised dates to be announced if one can be finalized.
"We appreciate the communication and cooperation from everyone involved in reaching this decision," said Heartland Promotions LLC co-owner Erick Chesterman. "While we're disappointed we won't be racing in Arkansas this weekend, but with fuel costs and travel expenses still higher than normal, we believe this is best course of action for all involved."
Although the American Racer Modified Series event has been postponed, Diamond Park Raceway will continue with its scheduled Saturday program featuring an open Modified division paying $1,000 to win. The event will be contested utilizing a combination of both USRA and IMCA rules. Drivers interested in competing are encouraged to contact Diamond Park Raceway directly for complete event information, rules, and entry details.
Series officials appreciate the patience and understanding of the racing community and look forward to announcing updated plans in the near future.
Fans are encouraged to follow the American Racer Modified Series and Heartland Promotions social media channels for schedule updates and future announcements.
