Galvan tops Tinsley Memorial at Lakeside Speedway
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 14, 2026)—Friday night at Lakeside Speedway, racing action featured the Tinsley Memorial presented by David Anderson, M.D., of Kansas City Joint Replacement & Sports Medicine alongside First Responders Night featuring the Nextran GMC Championship Series.
In the Pied Piper Termite & Pest Control Pure Stocks $700-to-win main event, Chase Galvan of Kansas City captured the victory over points leader Marshall Jewett, followed by J..R Billings, Tim Billings of Liberty, Mo., and Joseph Smith Jr. of Kansas City.
Lonnie Hibner of Chillicothe, Mo., bested Stephen Clancy of Odessa, Mo., for the top spot. while Chad Clancy of Polo,, Mo,, followed in third. Darren Shaw of Lawson, Mo., and Lansing's Jake Richards rounded out the top five finishers.
Dylan Holt of Topeka top a 19-car field in the Schweizer Performance USRA Stock Cars. After advancing four spots in the main event, points leadr Kacey Shields of Kansas City, Mo., settled for the runner-up paycheck at the end of the 15-lapper.
Topeka's Jaylen Wettengel wound up third, fourth went to Rodney Schweizer Kansas City and Randy Foote of Stanton, Iowa colpeted the topf ive at the checkered flag.
In the Deutz Power Center Midwest E-Mods, points leader Corey Myers, of Atchison picked up the win, followed by Chris Dishong of Atchison, who passed 12 cars geth the seond spot. Devin Dultmeier of Silver Lake, Dustin Lawrence of Rushville, Mo., and 17th-starting Vic Tranckino of Basehor rounded out the top five.
Shawnee's Don Marrs took the victory in the Vintge Cars, followed by David Isaacs of Bonner Springs, Jason Isabell of Kansas City, Mo., Darrin Christy of Kansas City and Steve Brown of Olathe.
