Scobee Powerline Construction and Coca-Cola Night at the Races drew a packed crowd to I-35 Speedway this past Saturday, with 137 cars taking to the track for an action-filled night of dirt-track racing. From the opening heat races through the final features, the racing delivered nonstop excitement. After last weekend’s rainout, the evening also included the Bud Wilson Memorial, which was recognized during opening ceremonies and intermission. The event was paired with the Mike Tanner Finish Strong Foundation Memorial, adding a $1,020 purse to the USRA Hobby Stock feature. The Wilson and Tanner families also presented custom plaques to all feature winners. With plenty happening off the track, the on-track action more than lived up to the occasion.
