I-35 Speedway 8-29-26 results

WINSTON, Mo. (August 29, 2026)—CR Seeds and Services Night at the Races drew a packed crowd as 94 cars across 10 classes took to the track for dirt racing action. The evening also featured the Mike Knight Memorial Race, with Mike honored during pre-race ceremonies as Mary Knight led a balloon release around the track. Thanks to the Knight family’s generous support, the E-Mod feature paid $800 to win. We also welcomed the Midwest Lightning Sprint Cars back for the night’s program.

The E-Mod feature opened the program, with Tony Layne taking the win in the Mike Knight Memorial Race. Jake Starmer finished 2nd, followed by Brayden Royce in 3rd, Aaron Jones in 4th, and Kenny Reed in 5th.

Brad Mick delivered a dominant run in the USRA Tuners to claim his fifth feature win of the season. Scott Beagle finished 2nd, Ryan Hinkle 3rd, Dan Canady 4th, and Samuel Moore 5th.

The Vintage Open class returned to I-35 Speedway, with Bill Hager taking the feature win. David Clark finished 2nd, Ron Lefholz 3rd, Walt Ryan 4th, and Mike Lefholz 5th.

Nic Hanes dominated the USRA B-Mod feature from the pole, leading every lap to the win. Tyler Cadwallader finished 2nd, John Ross 3rd, Adam Dunwoodie rebounded from a scary hot-lap rollover to finish 4th, and Darren Shaw came home 5th.

Tyler Cadwallader went one spot better in the USRA Stock Cars, picking up the feature win. Chris Dishong led several laps before finishing 2nd, followed by John Hanson in 3rd, Jake Hoover in 4th, and Michael King in 5th.

Houston Johnson doubled up on the night by also winning the USRA Modified feature, his 12th Modified feature victory of the season. Mark Schafman finished 2nd, Nick Roberts 3rd, Brad Johnson 4th, and Terry Vantrump 5th.

Makayla Myers returned to Victory Lane in the Beginner Tuners, earning her ninth feature win of the season. Owen Miller finished 2nd, Glenn Sterkis 3rd, Derek Johnson 4th, and Cooper Canady 5th.

Thank you to the fans and drivers who came out for a great night of racing at I-35 Speedway. We also appreciate our sponsors for their continued support, along with the track officials, safety crew, and everyone who helped make the night possible. Racing returns next Saturday at I-35 Speedway with another action-packed program featuring the Iron Man Stock Cars.
