SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (November 3, 2026)—Personally, and as the owner of Springfield Raceway, I want to sincerely apologize for the Facebook post showing me on Halloween wearing an Eddy Murphy Costume portraying me as Buck Wheat from Saturday Night Live .The photo was taken more than a decade ago & in sharing on Facebook was in poor taste.
Again Apologies to anyone that was offended.
Springfield Raceway welcomes every member of our community, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or political affiliation. My post did not reflect that commitment, and for that I am truly sorry.
