Pull out the Chicharrones!

Mother Nature wouldn't win this battle as the ASCS 305 Winged Sprint Cars put on a show! The USRA Street Stocks, USRA X-Mods, Hornets, and Super Trucks joined the Sprint Cars.

In the Super Trucks it was championship night, Walton Kyle Jr or Matt Higby would walk away as a champion. It was a good race, as Jaime Bejarano the ROOKIE would show the way, with the other eighteen Trucks behind him. After a couple of cautions on a good green flag run Jaime would stay strong, until Kenny Alons caught him down the back straight. Jamie Bejarano, Kenny Alons, and Don Kleine went three wide and all made contact and spun!!! All three would go to the back, at the restart Walton Kyle Jr, and Matt Higby would go side by side!! This was not just for the win, it was for the 2014 Super Truck championship!! Walton Kyle Jr ran his line smoother than butter, and Matt Higby was just super loose on the bottom, and Walton Kyle Sr would get around Matt Higby for second. That would do it for Matt Higby, Walton Kyle Jr would win the Super Truck Main event, and is your 2014 SUPER TRUCK TRACK CHAMPION!!

In the Hornets, Benny Pena would lead the way with Rudy Tarin Jr catching him quickly. Rudy Tarin Jr would show the way, and just put a clinic! He would dominate the Hornet main event.

An insane USRA X-Mod main event took place, as there was trouble everywhere. Carlos Ahumada Jr would just dominate the opening laps until he found him self in the wall. Billy Braswell in 75J would lead, until Donovan Flores, and Gregory Gorham got around. Gregory Gorham would lead with Donovan right behind him. Caution, after caution, ext... it was over with Gregory Gorham dominant in the USRA X-Mod division.

Lloyd Turner made the return to the Southern New Mexico Speedway, and did he drive the wheels of that zero machine! Lloyd Turner who has been stopped so many times this year on the final lap, finale got the job done tonight. He would just wax your field. Not much went on, on front but Justin Lasiter would finish right behind Noah Hollingshead in fourth.

Talk about dominating! The ASCS 305 Winged Sprint Cars main event was a "Cesar Fuentes Show" at the start Rick Ziehl would loose the drag race into turn one to Cesar Fuentes. After that Cesar Fuentes took off!! He would jump to a half track lead!! The only battle on the track was Derek Demartino and Kyle Sager. Derek Demartino would get passed by Sager, but boy did Derek Demartino swing right back around Sager. These two would battle and Derek Demartino drove like a champ tonight battling Kyle Sager. Those two put the best battle, until Sager would win the battle and moved to third. Brandon Shure didn't give Sager third to easy. Sager did get around until Shure attacked and would get back to third. At the end Kyle Sager would get third, and time would come to an end and "El Patronsito" Cesar Fuentes would get his second main event win of the season!!

Drivers are getting heated up on points, because to win a championship at the Southern New Mexico Speedway is something hard to do! Especially this track, because it's one of the toughest tracks to get around in the nation! Hope to see you all next weekend for the Barnett Harley Davidson USRA Western Modifieds!
