200 Lap Fall Enduro
Unstoppable is the word to describe Lloyd Turner right now. Lloyd has won the past four USRA Street Stock main events, he has clean sweeped two nights already, and now to put the icing on the cake he wins the 200 Lap Fall Enduro after seven years of trying!!
George La Rose in his #44x would lead the way early, until he had to pull into the pits as his oil gaskets were loose and let the oil out. Fifty laps in Mike Mays would take charge and lead the way by a whole lap! Next we didn't know it was going to be partly cloudy down the back straightaway as Mike Mays blew up a transmission which cause a bunch of smoke! He was out, so Ricky Olivares would show the way in his #7x.
After a hundred laps Gary Mays ended up in the lead, but Olivares came back and brought Lloyd Turner along for the ride. Lloyd Turner had the wildest ride in the New Mexico State Fair tonight, because he would end up with two flat tires, and drove it to the checker flag!!
Lloyd Turner would pocket $2,500.00! Will Lloyd Turner keep his fire going by winning the USRA Street Stock main event tomorrow to make it FIVE IN A ROW?
